International Cooperation and Enforcement
e-Consumer.gov
A website currently run by the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network (ICPEN), a network of consumer protection and enforcement agencies of 33 countries specially created to provide information for cross-border e-commerce disputes in the B2C marketplace. The website of e-Consumer.gov contains a section with general information and tips on ADR for its use among consumers. e-Consumer.gov has also created a pilot project on ADR, where consumers may choose to refer their complaints for potential resolution to a provider of ADR services instead of using the traditional dispute resolution process offered by the local consumer protection agency.
