  1. The Center for Information Technology and Dispute Resolution (CITDR) was established in September 1997 with support from the Hewlett Foundation and the Department of Legal Studies of the University of Massachusetts. The CITDR is devoted to understanding the nature and origins of online conflict and of appropriate responses to it. The CITDR main focus of work is to develop technology tools to find solutions to many forms of offline/online conflict, whether they are public or private, whether they involve commercial transactions or other social relationships, and whether they are international or domestic. The website of CITDR contains articles, publications, the latest news and a list of annual events and seminars on ODR, as well as online discussion lists and other relevant links in the area.

  2. E-Arbitration-T is a European consortium of companies, universities and arbitration centers that has worked to design technological innovative programs in order to provide ADR tribunals and centers with a set of integrated applications to give their neutrals and clients control over the procedures and operational processes with complete case management tools. The website of E-Arbitration-T is specifically devoted to the study of ODR mechanisms in different areas of law within the European Union and contains a section on news, seminars and events, papers, publications and other links on ODR.

  3. Electronic Consumer Dispute Resolution (ECODIR) is an academic initiative from the Center for Computer and Law Research from the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix in Belgium and the Faculty of Law, University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland and supported by the European Commission and the Irish Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. The aim of the ECODIR Project is to set up a system devoted to the electronic resolution of Internet disputes arising between consumers and merchants using ADR mechanisms such as negotiation, mediation and recommendations.

  4. Research Team On Online-Dispute Resolution, Arbitration and Information Technology of the Law School and the Department of Information Systems of the University of Geneva is a team of professionals attorneys and computer scientist financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation and working on research projects related to the role of information technologies in dispute resolution mechanisms since December 2003.   5. The Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) is an organization of ADR professionals based in United States dedicated to enhancing the practice and public understanding of conflict resolution. The ACR represents and serves a diverse national and international audience of mediators, arbitrators, facilitators, educators, and others involved in the field of conflict resolution and collaborative decision-making. The ACR’s website contain information on conferences, newsletters, papers and reports and online discussion lists on ODR, including a section on ODR for consumers.

  6. American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Dispute Resolution, is one of the largest associations of attorney professional in the US and throughout its section on Dispute Resolution has conducted research and developed work in the area of ADR. The website of the Dispute Resolution Section contains publications, newsletters, discussion forums, annual reports, links to conferences & seminars and other relevant resources on ADR systems with particular focus on American law.
